Road Closures - latest

The new date for the expected end to the road works is the 18th January, though unforeseen complications underground mean this date cannot be guaranteed and things could go on a while longer.
Main Street and all other roads will be open as usual over the Christmas perios when the work will be shut down.
The police are believed to be contempating measures to prevent HGVs from accessing Church Lane for the remainder of the works period.
The principal reason for the work is to prevent future damage caused by flooding at the Stanford Road/WHR junction.
