One man went to mow......

Some of the grass in the village is cut by our own contractor and some by Northants County Council. Our own contractor does a good job, every two weeks or so. NCC is strapped for cash and doesn't mow so often. As a result much of the village can look quite untidy at times.
So, encouraged by the parish assembly in June, the parish council is looking seriously at taking all the grass cutting in house. We think we can afford it and from next year (2015) everywhere should be cut at least every four weeks. I'll ley tou know, here and on facebook, and in our newsletter, when the deal is done.
We are confident doing it this way will be better, but then, the grass is always greener ..........
